There are several ways you can help transform our colleges and universities into centres of climate leadership.

1) Please consider making a gift.  We will proudly display your picture and a link to your website on our Wall of Friends.

2) The goBEYOND Campus Climate Network runs on volunteer time.  There are many important roles to be filled whether you have just a few hours or an entire semester.  See the list of volunteer opportunities below.

3) Share your stories.  We love to profile community members who are leading by example.  Your stories inspire others to push beyond their boundaries.

 

Job Opportunities Available

Are you passionate about sustainability? Want to help your school make a difference? Interested in moving our education to change the world?

goBEYOND is seeking out creative, enthusiastic and organized students across BC to help foster sustainability on their campuses. Through supporting sustainability initiatives and helping deliver the goBEYOND project on their campuses, student campus organizers will not only be helping their schools address climate change while furthering their leadership experiences that will aid their futures beyond university.

Volunteer Positions Available...

Provincial Residence Energy Challenge Coordinator, Challenge Working Group: 

The BC Residence Energy Challenge will be a week long event taking place in the winter semester in which participating campuses across the province will compete to reduce their energy consumption.  The Coordinator for this event will be working with the Challenges Working group, Project Manager and Campus Organizers across the province to make the energy challenge a success.  The time commitment for this volunteer position is 2-5 hours per week, starting ASAP.  Volunteers can expect to develop their collaboration, youth-engagement, marketing, communication and prize-raising skills.  Please contact melissa@campusclimatenetwork.org for more info or to apply.


Communications Coordinator, Communications Working Group:  

goBEYOND is looking for someone to help us ramp up our external communications strategy.  From list building to traditional and social media to campaign communication, we could use a tune up!  The time commitment for this volunteer position is 2-5 hours/ week.  Please contact melissa@campusclimatenetwork.org for more info or to apply.
